Handicrafts at a tourist stop (Isla de los Micos) on the Amazon. Isla de los Micos was once run by Mike Tsalickis, an American entreprenuer who was busted for cocaine trafficking in 1989. The island was seized by the government but has now been turned over to a luxury resort developer. Located just minutes outside Leticia, it is a frequent stop for mass market Amazon tours running out of Colombia.
