According to Wikipedia, Margerie Glacier is a 21-mile-long (34 km) glacier in Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska. It begins on the south slope of Mount Root, at the Alaska-Canada border, and trends southeast and northeast to Tarr Inlet, one mile (1.6 km) north of the terminus of Grand Pacific Glacier and 87 miles (140 km) northwest of Hoonah.
