Silverback gorilla
A silverback is an adult male gorilla, usually 12 years of age or older. He leads a troop consisting of 5 to 30 gorillas and is responsible for the safety and well-being of the troop. The silverback makes all the decisions for the troop and mediates conflicts between other members.
